Happy Memorial Day! - May 29, 2023

 MONDAY:

So we were out knocking in an area where it felt like I knew the houses, because I was here 6 months ago I saw this specific house and was like, I remember her, so we stopped by, and she accepted a Book of Mormon and said we could come back!

TUESDAY:
We had a lesson with Bryan's! The first one was with a new friend and his lesson went a bit everywhere. The second one was with our recent convert Bryan and it went really well! We talked about keeping the Sabbath day holy! We also had a good lesson with Suzalyn and stopped by to talk to some awesome people! 

WEDNSDAY:
We had district council and interviews with President Gentry! Which went well! We talked about how we can all be a witness of truth and The Book of Mormon! I also met with Elizabeth again! She is someone I taught 6 months ago and we just stopped by and she was home and seemed so happy to meet with us again! And it was awesome to see her energy! 

We also played wiffle ball with the youth and I was wearing a dress and rainboots, so trying to run was interesting. 
And then we had miracle night! And it was wonderful to hear everyone's miracles!

THURSDAY:
We had service! And we were doing something called kid bags, which is a brown paper sack filled with about 3 meals for children, and we were doing the juice and... one had Burst! So we had sticky juice, a tiny bit of which was starting to mold, so we got to sort through the box to pull all the sticky juices out.

We then brought our recent convert Bryan to the sacred Grove and The Hill Cumorah and he loved it! He said he could just feel the peace that was there and the truth of what happened! And he loved the stories about how the plates were protected! 

FRIDAY:
We had a really good mini training! We also had service and that was awesome! We helped lay out some very vibrant table cloths and of course serving the meal was fun! We also called our friend Chris and he had accidentally blocked us!😂 but we were unblocked and set up a time to meet again. 

I also got to help push some kids on the spinning things at playgrounds generally! And we explained to Bryan the 10 Commandments and helped give him some clarity on war and the do not kill commandment, partly by pointing him to Moroni! 

SATURDAY:
We had lunch and a zone council which was awesome! A zone council is where many missionaries over a specific area gather together to talk about the work, and we did it at a members house which was interesting. Then as we were knocking We had knocked a few houses and it was a bit warm and everyone was saying you look very warm and then we were invited in by this man and his girlfriend, who as we later found out was an inactive member who had also gone on a mission. So we had a good conversation about his mission and general things, which was good! 

SUNDAY:
We had church! We had a apartment emergency where our toilet got clogged and overflowed, so we were late for said church. But church went well! Chris came to church and said he enjoyed it and that he would be back next week! We also had someone who said we could come back! Her name is Jennifer!

  TUESDAY: We had Zone Conference day #1. Elder Johnson of the seventy came which was cool.  There are also three Martin's in our mission, none related to each other. I also had exchanges. WEDNESDAY : Our catch up day. We had a lot of lessons! THURSDAY : Day #3 of zone conference. Another exchange. Within the exchange I got to do my first service on the mission  and I started a phone call in Spanish. Which was cool. FRIDAY : We had lessons and some finding. SATURDAY: It was soo hot. We got up to like 89sh. I was walking up a set of stairs and a huge bee stopped right in front  of my forehead before I stepped forward.   luckily I saw and stopped but I almost got stung by a bee.  We also has a storm Saturday evening., and the rain came on so fast it was bizarre.  I'm still trying to decide how I like the weather here, but I guess spring is unpredictable everywhere. Baptism and everything! - June 5, 2023

Hello beautiful people,                                                        Sister Prall and I found some beautiful Daisies. MONDAY: We had an awesome lesson with one of our friends Chris! We talked about Jesus Christ and why he had to come!  And we called random people at the church which was a bit strange but good! TUESDAY: So we had a slightly distracted lesson with our new friend Bryan. (Not the recent convert) we tried talking about prophets which went well but he kept on going on tangents about false prophets and some other tangents. And pulling him back to the fact that there is a true prophet today was fun. But we think we got the point across! Problems are Like a Washing Machine - August 7, 2023

Hello, Wonderful Week!  Hope it was for you too! TUESDAY: Well Tuesday we had a lot of lessons planned, then they all fell through so instead we did a lot of finding. We stopped by this one house and they were just letting their dogs out so we got to pet two of their dogs who were very nice! One of them stayed a boy further back and made us a bit nervous but the owner was there so it was fine! We ended up having a good conversation with her though she wasn't interested. WEDNESDAY: We met with Sister Wilkinson! And when we went we thought it would just be Sister Wilkinson, then Autumn joined us and we just read to them from The Book of Mormon together! It was awesome! And Autumn was involved and commenting which she hasn't been the past few times we've gone!  We then showed up for youth night but it ended being somewhere else so we talked to the adults instead which was good!
