Hi All,


 MONDAY:

We had district p-day which was a lot of fun!

TUESDAY:

We played pickleball! We also had a lesson with our recent convert and set up a meal with her and her son! 
Then we had another awesome love, share, invite with the Adam's family! Their little girl Holland has been bringing her friend, Makayla,  to church and we were able to set more plans! And Holland has another friend coming next week! Her friends mom might not know what church it is, but Makayla has been loving it! 

WEDNESDAY:

We had another lesson with Addison and used a homemade puzzle! We also met with some people who we have been trying to meet with for like 3 months. And it went so well! They were asking a lot of questions and we were going to gently take them into the restoration but then they asked for the history of our church...! So we explained the restoration, and where The Book of Mormon came in! And at the end the dad was like, do you have a copy of one of those books? And we happily gave him one! We are going to meet again in June, because that's when they said they were available. But on the way out we also mentioned that we were going yo go to youth night where they were setting up to do knife and ax throwing with the youth. And their 10 year old daughter Macy really wanted to come! So she and her Brother Colin showed up to our youth night that evening! Which was amazing! Don't worry Mom and dad I did not handle the blades! 

And then to top it all off, we heart-attacked our friend Lisa's door!

THURSDAY:

Well, we drove two hours to Syracuse and had a good phone call with someone on the way! 
We also talked to Marlene and shared about The Book of Mormon! And she listened! And said we could come back and teach her more! 

We also set up a priesthood blessing for Lisa!

FRIDAY:

We get to meet with Lisa! We talked with thus guy named Justin over the phone and he kept on being like, I go by The Holy Bible. So we tried to use cross references to show why we go by both The Bible and The Book of Mormon by using cross references! I don't think he realized though.😅

We also showed one of our friends the signs for the 10 Commandments and she was amazed! She was like wow! Can you send me a video! 

SATURDAY:

We did an exchange! We also made a friend! We were walking along the street finding as missionaries do. And we saw these people having a party outside so we decided to talk to them, which was a bit awkward. But then one of the party leaders came out and talked to us! She had never heard of The Book of Mormon so accepted one and said we could come back! And Lisa got a blessing and it was so amazing! It was such a peaceful blessing and she loved it! 

We also had a good lesson with the Magee's!

SUNDAY:

Well it was good. I gave a talk which everyone said was good!😅 we had our friend Dawn at Sunday school! And afterwards we met with some of our members. 

So it has been very rainy over the weekend up here, like non-stop until today! But we parked at this members house and my companion parked on the side of their lawn where there was a big puddle and she offered to move but I was like no, it's okay I'll just jump. And so I jumped and ... splash ... water splashed all over me and my skirt, I was so wet. I sat at the edge of their couch my whole lesson. And we then had some really good lessons and thus ended our week!

I am so grateful for the opportunity to be here on a mission! I have how the Lord can change others and help us truly see them as children of God!

  TUESDAY: We had Zone Conference day #1. Elder Johnson of the seventy came which was cool.  There are also three Martin's in our mission, none related to each other. I also had exchanges. WEDNESDAY : Our catch up day. We had a lot of lessons! THURSDAY : Day #3 of zone conference. Another exchange. Within the exchange I got to do my first service on the mission  and I started a phone call in Spanish. Which was cool. FRIDAY : We had lessons and some finding. SATURDAY: It was soo hot. We got up to like 89sh. I was walking up a set of stairs and a huge bee stopped right in front  of my forehead before I stepped forward.   luckily I saw and stopped but I almost got stung by a bee.  We also has a storm Saturday evening., and the rain came on so fast it was bizarre.  I'm still trying to decide how I like the weather here, but I guess spring is unpredictable everywhere. Baptism and everything! - June 5, 2023

Hello beautiful people,                                                        Sister Prall and I found some beautiful Daisies. MONDAY: We had an awesome lesson with one of our friends Chris! We talked about Jesus Christ and why he had to come!  And we called random people at the church which was a bit strange but good! TUESDAY: So we had a slightly distracted lesson with our new friend Bryan. (Not the recent convert) we tried talking about prophets which went well but he kept on going on tangents about false prophets and some other tangents. And pulling him back to the fact that there is a true prophet today was fun. But we think we got the point across! Problems are Like a Washing Machine - August 7, 2023

Hello, Wonderful Week!  Hope it was for you too! TUESDAY: Well Tuesday we had a lot of lessons planned, then they all fell through so instead we did a lot of finding. We stopped by this one house and they were just letting their dogs out so we got to pet two of their dogs who were very nice! One of them stayed a boy further back and made us a bit nervous but the owner was there so it was fine! We ended up having a good conversation with her though she wasn't interested. WEDNESDAY: We met with Sister Wilkinson! And when we went we thought it would just be Sister Wilkinson, then Autumn joined us and we just read to them from The Book of Mormon together! It was awesome! And Autumn was involved and commenting which she hasn't been the past few times we've gone!  We then showed up for youth night but it ended being somewhere else so we talked to the adults instead which was good!
