Hello - May 15, 2023

 Hi All,

                                                           My new Companion Sister Prall!

TUESDAY:

We had some great lessons, and crazy afternoon because most of them went long😅 but we had a good lesson with our members the Bradford's, and they talked about someone they could share the gospel with! We also met with our recent concert for the last time for me😭. And we got to meet with Lisa so I could say bye! And we had a member meal with one of our members which was so much fun!

WEDNESDAY:

Well we had Transfers so the first part of it was crazy! But afterwards we traveled back to Geneseo! We did a lot of finding but we got to go to youth night! And I got to really surprise some of the youth as they were not expecting me back. It was fun!

THURSDAY:

We had some interesting/good contacts!
We talked to a guy who thought Joseph Smith was pretend and he was like, Joseph Smith worked for a printer in Philadelphia where he stole the pages!😂 and when we mentioned Joseph Smiths education he was like nope, he also said there were no more Roman Catholics, but we have met some, and they are very kind!

We also stopped by someone I had previously talked to and she was open to us coming back!
And we met with someone I we used to serve with, who has since left but we knocked on his door! And he said I have been looking for a church and because of the missionaries examples at service I have seriously been considering yours! So we gave him a card and be said he would check it out sometime! 

FRIDAY:

We met with Brother Wilkinson and he is so sweet! We also had a few contacts but it was mostly knocking.

SATURDAY:

We met with our recent convert Suzalyn who is so amazing! We met with this really nice lady who invited us in, not sure about interest but she was really nice! We also made a friend! He had talked to The Sisters previously but they had stopped teaching him because he got too busy. But he is interested in learning again and coming to church! Go Chris! 

SUNDAY:

We had church which was good! I gave a talk about mothers, of course, so a bit stressful but I enjoyed it. My mom is the best ever, so I thought it would be easy, but I didn't want to say the wrong thing.

It was fun to see all the familiar faces again! And then we also had dinner with the community in a place called the interfaith center! Which is where a bunch of college students and a few others gather to talk and eat which is a lot of fun!

  TUESDAY: We had Zone Conference day #1. Elder Johnson of the seventy came which was cool.  There are also three Martin's in our mission, none related to each other. I also had exchanges. WEDNESDAY : Our catch up day. We had a lot of lessons! THURSDAY : Day #3 of zone conference. Another exchange. Within the exchange I got to do my first service on the mission  and I started a phone call in Spanish. Which was cool. FRIDAY : We had lessons and some finding. SATURDAY: It was soo hot. We got up to like 89sh. I was walking up a set of stairs and a huge bee stopped right in front  of my forehead before I stepped forward.   luckily I saw and stopped but I almost got stung by a bee.  We also has a storm Saturday evening., and the rain came on so fast it was bizarre.  I'm still trying to decide how I like the weather here, but I guess spring is unpredictable everywhere. Baptism and everything! - June 5, 2023

Hello beautiful people,                                                        Sister Prall and I found some beautiful Daisies. MONDAY: We had an awesome lesson with one of our friends Chris! We talked about Jesus Christ and why he had to come!  And we called random people at the church which was a bit strange but good! TUESDAY: So we had a slightly distracted lesson with our new friend Bryan. (Not the recent convert) we tried talking about prophets which went well but he kept on going on tangents about false prophets and some other tangents. And pulling him back to the fact that there is a true prophet today was fun. But we think we got the point across! Problems are Like a Washing Machine - August 7, 2023

Hello, Wonderful Week!  Hope it was for you too! TUESDAY: Well Tuesday we had a lot of lessons planned, then they all fell through so instead we did a lot of finding. We stopped by this one house and they were just letting their dogs out so we got to pet two of their dogs who were very nice! One of them stayed a boy further back and made us a bit nervous but the owner was there so it was fine! We ended up having a good conversation with her though she wasn't interested. WEDNESDAY: We met with Sister Wilkinson! And when we went we thought it would just be Sister Wilkinson, then Autumn joined us and we just read to them from The Book of Mormon together! It was awesome! And Autumn was involved and commenting which she hasn't been the past few times we've gone!  We then showed up for youth night but it ended being somewhere else so we talked to the adults instead which was good!
