Spiritual Farmers Ahoy! - April 24, 2023

Hi Family and Friends,  



                                                                        Sacred Grove!


   One of our returning members realized we can all be spiritual farmers!  We loved that image!  Let's all be spiritual farmers!

TUESDAY:

Well we had a good conversation with someone on their doorstep! We talked about The Book of Mormon! And his little girl also peaked past the doorway and said she was interested! They said we could come back!


WEDNESDAY:
Zone conference! We went to the Palmyra Temple and the Sacred Grove! Wow! We had to wake up at 5:15 which wasn't great but the temple was amazing! And the sacred grove was so cool! And the Smith home was amazing! 

We also met Mic! We met him by seeing a dog who was wandering along the road so we jumped out to see if we could find it's home, and this person (Mic) was on his porch and it turned out to be his dog, it was so cute! But we offered to share a message and he said we could come back next week! 

THURSDAY:
We were able to do family history with one of our friends! And we did service! And then we had a great conversation with this lady named Wina! She had just moved into this house and said she was catholic but listened to us and accepted a Book of Mormon and said we could come back! 

And we also had a good conversation with someone else named George and he said we could come back!

 And we met Cody our returning a member and we had our lesson and we mentioned missionary work and he was like I can be a missionary!  So we decided that would be our next lesson topic!

SATURDAY:
We had a great conversation with this lady named Sueann who was amazing! We also had a meeting with a new friend Diana! She was so sweet! And said we could set up a time to meet again! 

We also met with Sister Graham who is so sweet!

SUNDAY:
We had a meeting with Addison! We used cups to show The Great Apostasy and The Restoration! Which she loved! Until she got lost in the cups.😂 

And we had the meeting with Cody about missionary work! And he loved it! We talked about how we can all be missionaries and share the gospel about Jesus Christ and he was like "Wow!" According to him we are all spiritual farmers! Which is  so true!  We love that he's so excited about being a spiritual farmer! 

We also had Cody and Dawn at church!



I know we can all share the gospel in different ways, which allows us to touch others hearts as we share of his light!

  TUESDAY: We had Zone Conference day #1. Elder Johnson of the seventy came which was cool.  There are also three Martin's in our mission, none related to each other. I also had exchanges. WEDNESDAY : Our catch up day. We had a lot of lessons! THURSDAY : Day #3 of zone conference. Another exchange. Within the exchange I got to do my first service on the mission  and I started a phone call in Spanish. Which was cool. FRIDAY : We had lessons and some finding. SATURDAY: It was soo hot. We got up to like 89sh. I was walking up a set of stairs and a huge bee stopped right in front  of my forehead before I stepped forward.   luckily I saw and stopped but I almost got stung by a bee.  We also has a storm Saturday evening., and the rain came on so fast it was bizarre.  I'm still trying to decide how I like the weather here, but I guess spring is unpredictable everywhere. Baptism and everything! - June 5, 2023

Hello beautiful people,                                                        Sister Prall and I found some beautiful Daisies. MONDAY: We had an awesome lesson with one of our friends Chris! We talked about Jesus Christ and why he had to come!  And we called random people at the church which was a bit strange but good! TUESDAY: So we had a slightly distracted lesson with our new friend Bryan. (Not the recent convert) we tried talking about prophets which went well but he kept on going on tangents about false prophets and some other tangents. And pulling him back to the fact that there is a true prophet today was fun. But we think we got the point across! Problems are Like a Washing Machine - August 7, 2023

Hello, Wonderful Week!  Hope it was for you too! TUESDAY: Well Tuesday we had a lot of lessons planned, then they all fell through so instead we did a lot of finding. We stopped by this one house and they were just letting their dogs out so we got to pet two of their dogs who were very nice! One of them stayed a boy further back and made us a bit nervous but the owner was there so it was fine! We ended up having a good conversation with her though she wasn't interested. WEDNESDAY: We met with Sister Wilkinson! And when we went we thought it would just be Sister Wilkinson, then Autumn joined us and we just read to them from The Book of Mormon together! It was awesome! And Autumn was involved and commenting which she hasn't been the past few times we've gone!  We then showed up for youth night but it ended being somewhere else so we talked to the adults instead which was good!
