Happy Easter! - April 10 2023
Happy Easter Everyone!
Roses for Easter!TUESDAY:
So we came to one of our returning members homes where we've been teaching her granddaughter. But that day her granddaughter was unavailable but we didn't know till we came. So she was like Addison is gone but you could share a quick message with me! So we said okay and we were there about 30 minutes just listening to her talk. But it was good.
We also had a great lesson with our friend Lisa! Which was amazing!
WEDNESDAY:
Well we had an awesome conversation with this lady named Stephanie covering a lot of different topics but we were able to give her a Book of Mormon! Though the day was sunny and she had a white porch so both of us were half blinded during most of the conversation.
We also had miracle night where companionships over the whole mission get to share miracles they've seen which is always so much fun!
THURSDAY:
We went on exchanges and I went with Sister Balch. (And I just realized I forgot pictures, sorry!)
But it was a lot of fun! We did service! And some finding, I kept on getting us on streets I had knocked before so lots of driving!

And we had another good lesson for our friend Lisa! And we gave someone else a Book of Mormon!
FRIDAY:
Well we knocked on the house of a pastor. Which was interesting. He was very nice just talked about how The Book of Mormon having one draft wouldn't make sense and how we don't need more scripture..... so it was interesting, but we ended up giving him a Book of Mormon. We also tried to hunt down someone our president had found but we are not sure his address exists? Or he lives in the one that might be his?
And then for Easter our friend Dawn gave us roses which was so sweet of her!
SATURDAY:
My companion practiced for Easter Sunday! We met someone named Joe who totally seemed to understand truth was lost and that more was needed and we were standing there listening to him... like "hello!" haha. But he definitely did not understand Joseph Smith and didn't let us totally explain and then randomly asked why we didn't drink coffee. So it was a very interesting all over the place contact.
We got to teach Addison! She was very sweet! A bit shy but she was awesome!
SUNDAY:
Easter was awesome! We had a good meeting! We had a couple friends come and many members brought friends! Which was amazing! We had some good member visits and dinner from one our members! And made some plans for members to share the gospel! And we had a good chat with one of our neighbors! Otherwise it was pretty quiet!
Love you all! I know The Lord is in every detail of our lives and will truly help us! Thank you for all of your support!
Love,
Sister Paige Martin
