Turtle's, Hedgehogs, and stake conference! - March 20, 2023

Hello everyone!



                                                            We put Lisa on date for baptism!

TUESDAY:

Well we crazy storm! And we were knocking out in it. Everyone was telling us to get inside, but as missionaries we were like we can handle this. So we kept knocking.

We also had someone who we just started teaching said they were impressed by our knowledge because we were so young and he wants to introduce us to his fiancée! 

And we tried to call someone who spoke pure Spanish and I am learning Spanish not enough to converse, but companion knew enough to start! There were a lot of "lo sientos" and lookups on Spanish dictionary🤣. We then sent him to someone who spoke Spanish!😅

WEDNESDAY:
I got a blessing which was amazing! And we had a pickle ball reschedule! So that was really fun! And we did college surveys! So we talked gave the survey and asked about what they think happens after they die! And they said they had wondered, but didn't want to learn!

THURSDAY:
We met this awesome lady! Her name was Lisa! A different one than our other friend sorry for the confusion!😅 She was so cool! Apparently she met with missionaries in college and is open to meeting again! We had a church tour with another friend, Cynthia! And it was so good! She loved It and said she was almost ready to be put on date for baptism.  That makes me so happy!

SATURDAY:
Well we met with our friend Dawn and her grandsons! And one of them sat in on the lesson! And when he asked her if it was all true,  she said yes! So pray that she will be ready to put on date! And I got to hold her turtle and her hedgehog! Her hedgehog had less prickly spikes then I anticipated! 

And then a huge miracle! We put Lisa on date!!!🥳🥳🥳🥳 it was so spirit lead! We also got a comment about us being nuns!😂

SUNDAY:
We had the general session of stake conference and we had Dawn and her grandsons came and loved it! And they met our mission president! And had a good lesson on gratitude with a member!

I can testify God is truly in the details of our lives and will give us the miracles as we seek as we continue to turn to Him! Love you all! Have the best week!💕

  TUESDAY: We had Zone Conference day #1. Elder Johnson of the seventy came which was cool.  There are also three Martin's in our mission, none related to each other. I also had exchanges. WEDNESDAY : Our catch up day. We had a lot of lessons! THURSDAY : Day #3 of zone conference. Another exchange. Within the exchange I got to do my first service on the mission  and I started a phone call in Spanish. Which was cool. FRIDAY : We had lessons and some finding. SATURDAY: It was soo hot. We got up to like 89sh. I was walking up a set of stairs and a huge bee stopped right in front  of my forehead before I stepped forward.   luckily I saw and stopped but I almost got stung by a bee.  We also has a storm Saturday evening., and the rain came on so fast it was bizarre.  I'm still trying to decide how I like the weather here, but I guess spring is unpredictable everywhere. Baptism and everything! - June 5, 2023

Hello beautiful people,                                                        Sister Prall and I found some beautiful Daisies. MONDAY: We had an awesome lesson with one of our friends Chris! We talked about Jesus Christ and why he had to come!  And we called random people at the church which was a bit strange but good! TUESDAY: So we had a slightly distracted lesson with our new friend Bryan. (Not the recent convert) we tried talking about prophets which went well but he kept on going on tangents about false prophets and some other tangents. And pulling him back to the fact that there is a true prophet today was fun. But we think we got the point across! Problems are Like a Washing Machine - August 7, 2023

Hello, Wonderful Week!  Hope it was for you too! TUESDAY: Well Tuesday we had a lot of lessons planned, then they all fell through so instead we did a lot of finding. We stopped by this one house and they were just letting their dogs out so we got to pet two of their dogs who were very nice! One of them stayed a boy further back and made us a bit nervous but the owner was there so it was fine! We ended up having a good conversation with her though she wasn't interested. WEDNESDAY: We met with Sister Wilkinson! And when we went we thought it would just be Sister Wilkinson, then Autumn joined us and we just read to them from The Book of Mormon together! It was awesome! And Autumn was involved and commenting which she hasn't been the past few times we've gone!  We then showed up for youth night but it ended being somewhere else so we talked to the adults instead which was good!
