Hello,
I hope you all had a wonderful week. We finally got snow, so I'm happy! And I talked to a guy from Pakistan.
Tuesday:
We also had an interesting conversation with someone previously taught and his neighbor. It was a good day!
Wednesday:
So we have not been able to get in contact with our recent concert Effie, which was annoying. So we stopped by her apartment.... and had a great lesson with her! We showed her the Rome Italy temple tour and she loved it! She said wants to go in one eventually!
Thursday:
For our service we help the senior center run the bingo, serve, eat, and clean up for meals. It is so much fun! And while we never shout out if we got a bingo both me and my companion got one! BINGO!
Now to the real stuff! We had a great lesson with our new friend Shawn! We were reading the Book of Mormon to him and he was like, it just makes sense! And he wants to share his love of God and Jesus Christ with his family! Which we are so excited for! We are very excited for Shawn! We also had a great lesson with one of our returning members!
Friday:
We had exchanges! So our day started out with driving about 2 hours and I was with Sister Danklefsun who is so sweet! But we were knocking in this trailer park and we see an older lady step out of her trailer and start walking so we're just like, let's say hi. And at first she seemed a bit creeped out because it was 7:00 at night and a bit dark. But eventually we started talking and she was talking all about her neighbors dog and she was going to feed him. And so we followed her to his house and she invited us into his house and introduced us and we had a great conversation with both of them! And gave them pamphlets!
It was actually such an interesting way to meet someone. I really felt God's hand in how it all worked out.
Sunday:
Well church was good! Both me and my companion spoke and she went first and took up much of the time, so I only had a few minutes which was perfect for me!

Then through Facebook finding I was talking to a guy in Pakistan who wanted to schedule, but instead of scheduling he called on the spot. It was good we had some time because it was a long and interesting conversation. He kept on trying to teach us and pointing us to scriptures and mentioned how he loves youth so it was very interesting. We set expectations which was a little bit hard and then we referred him to the missionaries in Pakistan. So Cool!
On Monday we made cookies and got snow!
I read these scriptures this week, and I love them!
2 Nephi 33: 3-4
3 But I, Nephi, have written what I have written, and I esteem it as of great aworth, and especially unto my people. For I bpray continually for them by day, and mine ceyes water my pillow by night, because of them; and I cry unto my God in faith, and I know that he will hear my cry.
4 And I know that the Lord God will consecrate my prayers for the gain of my people. And the words which I have written in weakness will be made strong unto them; for it apersuadeth them to do good; it maketh known unto them of their fathers; and it speaketh of Jesus, and persuadeth them to believe in him, and to endure to the end, which is life beternal.
This is how I feel about the people of Wellsville, NY! I pray for them! I want them to know this truth! It makes me so happy, and I just want to spread that!
Love,
Sis Paige Martin
