Snow Storms and Zone Conference - December 19, 2022
Hi Friends and Family!
Our 2-Hour Exchange!TUESDAY:
Well we had decided to walk to someone we were trying to find... as missionaries do. And we had a lesson with someone else afterwards. So we get to the lesson, with a inactive member Sister Baker. And during our conversation she was like. I saw you girls playing out in the cold and tried yelling hello, you didn't hear me. And we were like.... sorry. But she was good with it and made us cocoa!
WEDNESDAY:
We had a great lesson with our friend Bev. And we were also able to visit with the 99 year old woman again, Mary, which was so much fun!
THURSDAY:
So we have started getting snow! And we had Zone Conference (a meeting of many missionaries) on Friday in palmyra which is like 2 hours away. I promise these 2 facts will connect! According to the weather forecast there was supposed to be a storm that evening so we were like, let's drive up Thursday morning so we can be there for Zone Conference and do exchanges. Well we got up there had lunch and then found out Zone conference got postponed because of how bad the weather was supposed to be! So the drive back down took 3 hours! And are now going up later tonight to try all that again. Successfully this time. It was an...interesting day. Wellsville, where I live, only got a dusting.
SATURDAY:
We had been tasked by our ward to try to find someone and we were given the apartments but they did not know her number. So we looked at the mailboxes on one side of the stairs and knocked those without names. Well once we got to the last building we realized the whole time we were knocking we had assumed there was one set of mailboxes, but there were two!
But we had a lesson we had to get to so we were just like, maybe we'll come back later.

At the members lesson we got to turn on her Christmas tree which was awesome!
We also met with one of our recent converts which was amazing!
SUNDAY:
We had a friend come to church! Her name is Bev and she is Brother Allen's wife! And we called Brother Allen earlier and we're like, would Bev like to come to church? And he was like, I was just going to ask her. And he did and she came!
We also spent some time helping a member make stuff for Christmas to give out to others, and had food with a friend. So that was good.

And that's a wrap! Love you all and Merry Christmas!
