Counting the Unicorns - December 5, 2022

Hello, and Merry Christmas!

TUESDAY:

We had some good knocking. We had stopped by one man's house and he came out! He said he would be happy to talk if we could catch him between hunting! So we'll see how that goes.  While we were out walking we decided to take pictures by the cool river.  Not much snow here yet.

WEDNESDAY:

So one of our members is amazing and we haven't really been able to talk to his wife up till... today! So normally we meet on his porch because his wife is almost never home but this week he invited us in and his wife was there! We are so excited for her! Go Bev!!

We also got to watch another friend, Brian, sing. He gave us a shout out so that was cool at the diner where he was singing.

THURSDAY:

So one of our inactive members, Sister Baker, LOVES unicorns, and this time when we went over I decided to try and count them.  I got close.  I counted 63.  But not quite there, cuz she had 71 unicorn figurines, plates, stuffed animals, stickers, etc... We also watched a conference talk which she seemed to enjoy.

FRIDAY:

We met a really cool guy named Gabriel who started out not interested but he became interested as we continued talking. So we are so excited!

We also got affectionately attacked by dogs. 4 little ones and a giant one! But we meet the most elect person! Her name is Beth and she was so excited! She teased us about reading The Book of Mormon cover to cover! And we were like no do it will be amazing! And she wants us to talk to her son as well so woo-hoo!🥳

SATURDAY:

We stopped by this one lady and talked for awhile which was good. We got to help her with her bird feeder and take her dog on a walk which was fun! Sadly it turned out she was uninterested but it was a good time.

We also got to go watch fireworks then have a lesson with some other friends! Though currently those friends are two younger girls in a family. The parents are good with us teaching them. We thought. But when we suggested they watch church over zoom the Dad got a bit annoyed, it seems he doesn't love our church. So... we'll see how that goes. But the girls love to learn so that's good!

SUNDAY:

We talked to a 99 year old member of our ward which was awesome! We also got to watch The Churches Christmas Devotional with a part member family! And the person who was not a member seemed to enjoy it! And the member kept pointing out different things about the church, like temples and President Nelson! It was awesome!

My Mom and Dad sent Christmas lights! Thank you Mom and Dad!

Thank you for all you do! Love you!
