Cookies! December 12, 2022

 Greetings,



TUESDAY:  

Well we had some good lessons with one of our friends and some members. And we also made and frosted cookies. Which was very fun!

WEDNESDAY: 

So on Wednesday we go to district council, (a gathering of missionaries in a specific area) and on the way back we stopped to grab some food since we didn't have time to stop by home and make some. And we go to pay then a man comes up to pay for us! But.. it seems a mystery lady already had paid!!  We were all so Surprised! We were also able to teach one of our friends about prophets! Which was awesome because I had been wanting to do so for awhile!!!

THURSDAY: 

We went to service! It was really fun we ran bingo and served lunch for some older ladies. We also had been practicing for a music piece and had some of our members enter towards the end to decorate for the upcoming Christmas Dinner. We also had some great lessons with our friends Bethany and Brianna! 

FRIDAY: 

Was amazing! We went over to a members house which made me a little sleepy because she just kept talking, but I never fell asleep!  If any of you know me well, you know that's an accomplishment!  And then we had our Christmas party! We had many friends there and part-member families! And they all seemed to enjoy it! We also played our musical piece Breath of Heaven. We also were able to meet with one of our recent converts again! She had moved out of state but now she's back! Her name is Casey!

SATURDAY:

So we did a lesson while I drove home, always a most interesting experience. But it was good and our friend Brianna didn't seem to mind. We also have these cute kids we are teaching. Alexia, and Hailey. And every once and a while their younger brother Evan joined in as well. Well this week we decided to roleplay the Christmas story from Luke 2. So Evan was the very squirmy baby😂 and we were able to get their mother involved as well as Mary! At her kids insistence. And the dad came in towards the end. It was a very active night because they were also making sugar cookies so it was active kids×10. 

SUNDAY:

We met someone who is interested named Steven!  So I am very excited!

  TUESDAY: We had Zone Conference day #1. Elder Johnson of the seventy came which was cool.  There are also three Martin's in our mission, none related to each other. I also had exchanges. WEDNESDAY : Our catch up day. We had a lot of lessons! THURSDAY : Day #3 of zone conference. Another exchange. Within the exchange I got to do my first service on the mission  and I started a phone call in Spanish. Which was cool. FRIDAY : We had lessons and some finding. SATURDAY: It was soo hot. We got up to like 89sh. I was walking up a set of stairs and a huge bee stopped right in front  of my forehead before I stepped forward.   luckily I saw and stopped but I almost got stung by a bee.  We also has a storm Saturday evening., and the rain came on so fast it was bizarre.  I'm still trying to decide how I like the weather here, but I guess spring is unpredictable everywhere. Baptism and everything! - June 5, 2023

Hello beautiful people,                                                        Sister Prall and I found some beautiful Daisies. MONDAY: We had an awesome lesson with one of our friends Chris! We talked about Jesus Christ and why he had to come!  And we called random people at the church which was a bit strange but good! TUESDAY: So we had a slightly distracted lesson with our new friend Bryan. (Not the recent convert) we tried talking about prophets which went well but he kept on going on tangents about false prophets and some other tangents. And pulling him back to the fact that there is a true prophet today was fun. But we think we got the point across! Problems are Like a Washing Machine - August 7, 2023

Hello, Wonderful Week!  Hope it was for you too! TUESDAY: Well Tuesday we had a lot of lessons planned, then they all fell through so instead we did a lot of finding. We stopped by this one house and they were just letting their dogs out so we got to pet two of their dogs who were very nice! One of them stayed a boy further back and made us a bit nervous but the owner was there so it was fine! We ended up having a good conversation with her though she wasn't interested. WEDNESDAY: We met with Sister Wilkinson! And when we went we thought it would just be Sister Wilkinson, then Autumn joined us and we just read to them from The Book of Mormon together! It was awesome! And Autumn was involved and commenting which she hasn't been the past few times we've gone!  We then showed up for youth night but it ended being somewhere else so we talked to the adults instead which was good!
