Christmas! December 26, 2022
Hello and Merry Christmas!
TUESDAY:
We had our rescheduled zone conference, which was really good! We talked about why the name of The Church of Jesus Christ was so important! And what truths that were restored through the church are most important to us. Which was a lot of fun!
We were also on exchanges. We had a crazy lesson with one of their friends and in between crying children we talked about where we go after we die. And the priesthood.
We also visited the temple to drop something off then drove home. (All this was in palmyra New York)
WEDNESDAY: We planned and went about doing normal missionary stuff!
And for dinner we went with one of the members and our friends! It was a lot of fun! And we were also able to say hello to someone else we knew! We also had miracle night, which is always inspiring!

SATURDAY: Was Christmas Eve! Which was amazing! We started with a mission call where we all made a Christmas treat, which was very good, it was called monkey bread. Then we were able to go visit one of our older members, Mary and practice for a musical number that evening! We then went over to one of our members the Moore's for dinner and games as well as music and a Christmas video!
Random fact I learned from jeopardy, what was the first Christmas song played from space.... don't think too hard....."Jingle bells!" Which took us a second to get!

I got to call my family that night and exchange gifts virtually. It was so fun! Eryn made me a shot glass etched with the Palmyra temple and my name and mission! I made her a family tree etched in wood, and compiled some family stories. I got it mostly done before I left on my mission, and my parents finished it up for me. I love our homemade gift exchange every year.
SUNDAY:
We started out with one meal planned and an open evening for lessons but soon as our members heard they were like, "you are not spending Christmas evening alone" so we got multiple last minute invites, which turned into very good meals! We also played a game called Azul that evening, it was really goo. We also drove down the sketchiest road ever. It was covered in snow and there were some pretty deep gullies on both sides, so thank goodness for 4 wheel drive on cars!
But going back to zone conference at the beginning of the week. My two important restored truths from zone conference are:
1. Families can be together after we die, so our families can be eternal!
2. Prophets! That we have living prophets to continually guide us through our day!
This week I invite you to write down your favorite restored truth! (Or two)
