Seed planting - November 14, 2022

Hi Everyone,

I got to plant seeds on the Hill Cumorah! More about that in a minute.



WEDNESDAY: 
We had a great lesson with another of our returning members and our active. It was awesome because they both connected so we were able to have this awesome lesson/conversation and a fool proof plan for coming to church!

THURSDAY:
We had Zone Conference which was a lot of fun! We also had a great lesson with a member who is less active and she started talking about church! We also had a very interesting discussion with someone about reincarnation and the other side.

FRIDAY:
Was so fun! So the church is currently working on restoring the Hill Cumorah to what it was when Joseph Smith found the plates. And a part of that project was planting many trees from seed. Well some of the missionaries got a chance to help with that. And I was was one! So we planted trees from seed on The Hill Cumorah which was absolutely amazing! And we got a tour afterwards during which I saw a snake.🐍 we also had a great lesson with some of our members!

SATURDAY: 
We had some awesome conversations in one of our towns and a return appointment! It was cool because in one of our contacts the lady said she had actually been looking into different churches, which was amazing!

SUNDAY:
We had two returning members at church and two friends, it was amazing! And most of them seemed to enjoy it. So hopefully they will keep on coming!

  TUESDAY: We had Zone Conference day #1. Elder Johnson of the seventy came which was cool.  There are also three Martin's in our mission, none related to each other. I also had exchanges. WEDNESDAY : Our catch up day. We had a lot of lessons! THURSDAY : Day #3 of zone conference. Another exchange. Hello beautiful people,                                                        Sister Prall and I found some beautiful Daisies. MONDAY: We had an awesome lesson with one of our friends Chris! We talked about Jesus Christ and why he had to come!  And we called random people at the church which was a bit strange but good! TUESDAY: So we had a slightly distracted lesson with our new friend Bryan. (Not the recent convert) we tried talking about prophets which went well but he kept on going on tangents about false prophets and some other tangents. And pulling him back to the fact that there is a true prophet today was fun. But we think we got the point across! Problems are Like a Washing Machine - August 7, 2023

Hello, Wonderful Week!  Hope it was for you too! TUESDAY: Well Tuesday we had a lot of lessons planned, then they all fell through so instead we did a lot of finding. We stopped by this one house and they were just letting their dogs out so we got to pet two of their dogs who were very nice! One of them stayed a boy further back and made us a bit nervous but the owner was there so it was fine! We ended up having a good conversation with her though she wasn't interested. WEDNESDAY: We met with Sister Wilkinson! And when we went we thought it would just be Sister Wilkinson, then Autumn joined us and we just read to them from The Book of Mormon together! It was awesome! And Autumn was involved and commenting which she hasn't been the past few times we've gone!  We then showed up for youth night but it ended being somewhere else so we talked to the adults instead which was good!
