Paper airplanes and blessings - October 31, 2022

 Hello everyone!

Happy Halloween! We made cookies with our whole mission using zoom. Can you find me?



TUESDAY:
We had an awesome lesson with one of our friends Dan! It was very spirit filled, which was perfect because we were talking how we find spiritual truth through his spirit. And he seemed to understand which is always good! We also had some great lessons with members as well!

WEDNESDAY:
We heart-attacked one of our old friends which was so much fun! It's exciting never knowing weather you will get caught! We also visited a less active member which was fun!

THURSDAY:
We found a new friend! So we were knocking this one street and we saw a woman raking her leaves and we said, we should go help her. So we ran over and... she was already done😱 But we decided we would try knocking her door! And while she was less open at first as we explained more she became more interested! And by the end we had given her a Book of Mormon and set up a return appointment! Whoo,hoo Jen!🥳 Also for those soccer lovers in my family, she had a soccer ball jack--lantern.

FRIDAY:
Here is where the paper airplanes come in, also to all those who made them with/forced to make them, it came in handy. So we were teaching a part-member family and they had two younger grandkids and we were trying to figure out an interactive lesson (for how God loves and knows each of us) and my mind lighted on...paper airplanes. And they loved it. They had never really done it before so it was a very fun lesson we also had a Halloween party which was a lot of fun.

SUNDAY:
So on Sunday we had one of our most progressing friends at church and we talked about blessings. And our friend afterward was wanting to learn so we set up a lesson that day with one of the brothers in our church. And afterwards she was like, I want a blessing. And so she was given one and it was amazing! She said she felt it which was so cool! So that was amazing! And pullover from today, one of our friends who stopped meeting with us because of circumstances wants to meet with us again 🥳

MONDAY:
Halloween and cookie making.

So grateful for all the miracles we saw this week.

  TUESDAY: We had Zone Conference day #1. Elder Johnson of the seventy came which was cool.  There are also three Martin's in our mission, none related to each other. I also had exchanges. WEDNESDAY : Our catch up day. We had a lot of lessons! THURSDAY : Day #3 of zone conference. Another exchange. Within the exchange I got to do my first service on the mission  and I started a phone call in Spanish. Which was cool. FRIDAY : We had lessons and some finding. SATURDAY: It was soo hot. We got up to like 89sh. I was walking up a set of stairs and a huge bee stopped right in front  of my forehead before I stepped forward.   luckily I saw and stopped but I almost got stung by a bee.  We also has a storm Saturday evening., and the rain came on so fast it was bizarre.  I'm still trying to decide how I like the weather here, but I guess spring is unpredictable everywhere. Hello beautiful people,                                                        Sister Prall and I found some beautiful Daisies. MONDAY: We had an awesome lesson with one of our friends Chris! We talked about Jesus Christ and why he had to come!  And we called random people at the church which was a bit strange but good! TUESDAY: So we had a slightly distracted lesson with our new friend Bryan. (Not the recent convert) we tried talking about prophets which went well but he kept on going on tangents about false prophets and some other tangents. And pulling him back to the fact that there is a true prophet today was fun. But we think we got the point across! Problems are Like a Washing Machine - August 7, 2023

Hello, Wonderful Week!  Hope it was for you too! TUESDAY: Well Tuesday we had a lot of lessons planned, then they all fell through so instead we did a lot of finding. We stopped by this one house and they were just letting their dogs out so we got to pet two of their dogs who were very nice! One of them stayed a boy further back and made us a bit nervous but the owner was there so it was fine! We ended up having a good conversation with her though she wasn't interested. WEDNESDAY: We met with Sister Wilkinson! And when we went we thought it would just be Sister Wilkinson, then Autumn joined us and we just read to them from The Book of Mormon together! It was awesome! And Autumn was involved and commenting which she hasn't been the past few times we've gone!  We then showed up for youth night but it ended being somewhere else so we talked to the adults instead which was good!
