Now Writing from Wellsville - November 28, 2022

 Hi Friends and Family!



MONDAY:

I had to say goodbye to everyone which was very sad, I will definitely miss Geneseo! But onto new adventures in... Wellsville, New York.

TUESDAY:
Was the day of transfers so crazy like always. One of our members JOKINGLY asked us out for coffee, and one of our friends was half asleep during our lesson, overall it was a great first night. 

THURSDAY:
It was Thanksgiving! So we spent Thanksgiving with a member and had some good food, and then we went to another member's home for dinner. All in all much food, and a good day.

SATURDAY:
So we were out knocking in the late afternoon and we came to this one lady's house and she said "are you selling Jesus" and we were like, not exactly but we are talking about Jesus Christ. So she invited us in and had a good conversation.

We also went over to a friend's house. Our friends are younger girls, 10 and 11, and their brother sits in sometimes as well, and the parents were on the outskirts but not really involved. It was one of the most chaotic lessons ever. Because the girls kept on handing us cats, they also argued often plus there was TV and dishes on in the background, so I could also barely hear my companion at normal voice volume unless I was almost completely focused on her. But it was a pretty good lesson, I think we got the point across😅 

We also called someone really nice named Bethany and set up a lesson! 

SUNDAY:
Was good. We went to church and we got to do primary because the branch is pretty small over here so the missionaries are "primary president" and we have one primary child who does not come every week, so yeah. But this week we had visitors so primary was very active! We had a lot of fun.

And then we also were visiting a dot and we found his house, he was there. And he literally asked us to set up meetings on a specific meeting schedule! Which was awesome!

  TUESDAY: We had Zone Conference day #1. Elder Johnson of the seventy came which was cool.  There are also three Martin's in our mission, none related to each other. I also had exchanges. WEDNESDAY : Our catch up day. We had a lot of lessons! THURSDAY : Day #3 of zone conference. Another exchange. Within the exchange I got to do my first service on the mission  and I started a phone call in Spanish. Which was cool. FRIDAY : We had lessons and some finding. SATURDAY: It was soo hot. We got up to like 89sh. I was walking up a set of stairs and a huge bee stopped right in front  of my forehead before I stepped forward.   luckily I saw and stopped but I almost got stung by a bee.  We also has a storm Saturday evening., and the rain came on so fast it was bizarre.  I'm still trying to decide how I like the weather here, but I guess spring is unpredictable everywhere. Baptism and everything! - June 5, 2023

Hello beautiful people,                                                        Sister Prall and I found some beautiful Daisies. MONDAY: We had an awesome lesson with one of our friends Chris! We talked about Jesus Christ and why he had to come!  And we called random people at the church which was a bit strange but good! TUESDAY: So we had a slightly distracted lesson with our new friend Bryan. (Not the recent convert) we tried talking about prophets which went well but he kept on going on tangents about false prophets and some other tangents. And pulling him back to the fact that there is a true prophet today was fun. But we think we got the point across! Problems are Like a Washing Machine - August 7, 2023

Hello, Wonderful Week!  Hope it was for you too! TUESDAY: Well Tuesday we had a lot of lessons planned, then they all fell through so instead we did a lot of finding. We stopped by this one house and they were just letting their dogs out so we got to pet two of their dogs who were very nice! One of them stayed a boy further back and made us a bit nervous but the owner was there so it was fine! We ended up having a good conversation with her though she wasn't interested. WEDNESDAY: We met with Sister Wilkinson! And when we went we thought it would just be Sister Wilkinson, then Autumn joined us and we just read to them from The Book of Mormon together! It was awesome! And Autumn was involved and commenting which she hasn't been the past few times we've gone!  We then showed up for youth night but it ended being somewhere else so we talked to the adults instead which was good!
