Temples and friends - Oct 17, 2022

 Hello everyone! I hope y'all's week has gone well! 


TUESDAY: We had some really great lessons with our friends Wynelia and Sharon which was amazing! 

WEDNESDAY:
So we were knocking this trailer park that rather hidden and kind of in the middle on nowhere. And we knock on this one door and this lady Lori answered not being in the best emotional state. So my companion and I were like, ummm... But guess what... she was interested! She let us in and was like, I was looking for a church! She has such a strong love for God and Jesus Christ and is soo sweet! 
We also got to have a great lesson with one of our members and join Y/W which was a lot of fun!

THURSDAY:
We went to service which is always a lot of fun. We also made two new friends Ben and Dan! (One of those names might be important to remember for later on.) We were also able to meet with Kara and Sharon which is always good!

FRIDAY:
We had a great lesson about sharing the gospel with someone of our members! We made multiple plans including with some families we have been trying to talk to for weeks! Also we had out second lesson with Ben and some how we got on the topic of... Baptism. So we explained what it was and invited him to be baptized! And he said yes! Also we had no idea about this but the date we chose had special significance for Ben so soon as we suggested if he was like, no way that's a sign that this is the right thing🥳 God definitely works in mysterious and amazing ways. 

SATURDAY:
Was amazing! We had a church tour which was amazing! Our friend Ben and Cameron really enjoyed they loved all the pictures of the walls and were so excited to come to church! 

SUNDAY:
We had 5 friends at church! 4 in person 5 online which was amazing🥳 They all loved it and the friend who attended wants to come in person and everyone else wants to come back! We also had munch-n-mingle afterwards which was great!

The Fall leaves are beautiful!

  TUESDAY: We had Zone Conference day #1. Elder Johnson of the seventy came which was cool.  There are also three Martin's in our mission, none related to each other. I also had exchanges. WEDNESDAY : Our catch up day. We had a lot of lessons! THURSDAY : Day #3 of zone conference. Another exchange. Within the exchange I got to do my first service on the mission  and I started a phone call in Spanish. Which was cool. FRIDAY : We had lessons and some finding. SATURDAY: It was soo hot. We got up to like 89sh. I was walking up a set of stairs and a huge bee stopped right in front  of my forehead before I stepped forward.   luckily I saw and stopped but I almost got stung by a bee.  We also has a storm Saturday evening., and the rain came on so fast it was bizarre.  I'm still trying to decide how I like the weather here, but I guess spring is unpredictable everywhere. Baptism and everything! - June 5, 2023

Hello beautiful people,                                                        Sister Prall and I found some beautiful Daisies. MONDAY: We had an awesome lesson with one of our friends Chris! We talked about Jesus Christ and why he had to come!  And we called random people at the church which was a bit strange but good! TUESDAY: So we had a slightly distracted lesson with our new friend Bryan. (Not the recent convert) we tried talking about prophets which went well but he kept on going on tangents about false prophets and some other tangents. And pulling him back to the fact that there is a true prophet today was fun. But we think we got the point across! Problems are Like a Washing Machine - August 7, 2023

Hello, Wonderful Week!  Hope it was for you too! TUESDAY: Well Tuesday we had a lot of lessons planned, then they all fell through so instead we did a lot of finding. We stopped by this one house and they were just letting their dogs out so we got to pet two of their dogs who were very nice! One of them stayed a boy further back and made us a bit nervous but the owner was there so it was fine! We ended up having a good conversation with her though she wasn't interested. WEDNESDAY: We met with Sister Wilkinson! And when we went we thought it would just be Sister Wilkinson, then Autumn joined us and we just read to them from The Book of Mormon together! It was awesome! And Autumn was involved and commenting which she hasn't been the past few times we've gone!  We then showed up for youth night but it ended being somewhere else so we talked to the adults instead which was good!
