Miracles - August 22, 2022


Hello everyone!


Exchanges-where one missionary goes to another area for a day.



 



TUESDAY:

So Tuesday we went on exchanges and I got to go to Rochester. And they had meet this guy named Jon who owned a business selling something. We had a lesson with him. Every time we tried to teach him something and testify he was determined we were trying to sell him something. I'm just trying to spread light!  Not trying to "sell" haha.  Apparently I would be good at a marketing career.😂

WEDNESDAY:

Was an awesome day! One of our recent converts, Logan, showed up early to YM while we were at the church so we played Frisbee with him.

We met the cutest family as well as their family friend! They have a cute 3 year old named Skyler. And we had a great lesson with them all about the restoration and they agreed! 

THURSDAY:

So we had gone out knocking and said hello to a lady who was in her lawn. Once she saw us she invited us over by saying (paraphrasing here) "Ok what do you have to say." We shared our message with her and gave here a Book of Mormon! 

FRIDAY:

You know that family I mentioned earlier, well we were able to go on a church tour with them!
And they really connected with one of our members which was amazing!! We talked about baptism and invited them to pray about it!

SATURDAY:

So we go to knock this one area and there are a bunch of older people in a gazebo. And we had a great conversation! At the end my companion prayed over a cat and we did a prayer circle. We also invited them to church  (And they can see our church from the gazebo) and they said they might drop by one time.

Hello, Wonderful Week!  Hope it was for you too! TUESDAY: Well Tuesday we had a lot of lessons planned, then they all fell through so instead we did a lot of finding. We stopped by this one house and they were just letting their dogs out so we got to pet two of their dogs who were very nice! One of them stayed a boy further back and made us a bit nervous but the owner was there so it was fine! We ended up having a good conversation with her though she wasn't interested. WEDNESDAY: We met with Sister Wilkinson! And when we went we thought it would just be Sister Wilkinson, then Autumn joined us and we just read to them from The Book of Mormon together! It was awesome! And Autumn was involved and commenting which she hasn't been the past few times we've gone!  We then showed up for youth night but it ended being somewhere else so we talked to the adults instead which was good! We also had a lesson with Jodi which was good! And we talked to someone named William who I had talk...

Horses and Bowling - August 29, 2022

 Hello! MONDAY: So each week we have a lesson with this cute member family. And this week we got all set up for a lesson and one of their friends knocked on the door and asked if they could play. And the members invited him to the lesson! We were able to have a great lesson with the members and their friend it was awesome! WEDNESDAY: We met the cutest girl named Kara today. She is so sweet and so excited to come closer to Christ! She also brought her friend with her. We were able to have a great lesson and give Kara a Book of Mormon. We were knocking this one road and we had passed this house but it kept nagging at me. So eventually we went back and we were able to explain part of the restoration and give him a Book if Mormon! It was such a testament to me of how God is in the details and how the spirit will direct us if we are listening! THURSDAY: We were able to have a great lesson with someone! Trees!!!! As well as lots of threes! - September 12, 2022

  Hello everyone! I hope y'all are doing so good!  Here we are with Kara TUESDAY: So we head over to a friend's lesson and normally there are 3 people there Brian, Katie, Doug plus a three year old. Well this lesson we had no 3 year old and two other adults from the neighborhood joined the lesson instead. And we were able to set up another lesson with one of them as well so that was awesome FRIDAY: We did a good amount of of finding and we also had some amazing lessons with members!  SATURDAY: Miracle time! There was a festival inn a town near Geneseo so being the missionaries we were, we decided to go! And on the way down to the festival there were some people moving trees into a truck so we offered to help and once we finished went on our merry way (important side note, the guys name was James and we helped him and his girlfriend.
