Knocking and Gazebos - August 15, 2022

 Hello everyone!


TUESDAY:
So we were checking out these apartment complexes and it didn't look like we could go door to door. But we saw this guy in a gazebo to the side of the complex and decided to talk to him. His name was Nick and he was awesome! We were able to exchange numbers, give him a Book of Mormon, and invite him to church!🥳 He is trying for a band in another church😕... but he said he would study the Book of Mormon and maybe drop by church so we are so excited!😀

THURSDAY:
Was great! We had some interesting conversations as we were walking around and knocking. We were also able to invite one of our friends to a ward activity coming up. And she said she would come!

FRIDAY:
We had our ward activity and our friend came! The ward loved her and we had a great Night!
We were also able to do some knocking after the activity and we met a really nice lady. We had a great conversation about how God can help us and afterwards she asked if she could say a prayer. It was an ...interesting but still good experience.

SATURDAY:
So last week we had knocked this man's house whose name was Josh! (Not sure if mentioned him last week.) But he was interested so we came back this week... and he wasn't home but his wife was. And she was interested! We got to teach basically the whole restoration and give her a Book of Mormon!🥳 as well as set up a return appointment! 

SUNDAY:
We taught relief society.🥴 it went well. We got a lot of participation and had a great conversation! Despite my worry we had a great time😃

  TUESDAY: We had Zone Conference day #1. Elder Johnson of the seventy came which was cool.  There are also three Martin's in our mission, none related to each other. I also had exchanges. WEDNESDAY : Our catch up day. We had a lot of lessons! THURSDAY : Day #3 of zone conference. Another exchange. Within the exchange I got to do my first service on the mission  and I started a phone call in Spanish. Which was cool. FRIDAY : We had lessons and some finding. SATURDAY: It was soo hot. Baptism and everything! - June 5, 2023

Hello beautiful people,                                                        Sister Prall and I found some beautiful Daisies. MONDAY: We had an awesome lesson with one of our friends Chris! We talked about Jesus Christ and why he had to come!  And we called random people at the church which was a bit strange but good! TUESDAY: So we had a slightly distracted lesson with our new friend Bryan. (Not the recent convert) we tried talking about prophets which went well but he kept on going on tangents about false prophets and some other tangents. And pulling him back to the fact that there is a true prophet today was fun. But we think we got the point across! Problems are Like a Washing Machine - August 7, 2023

Hello, Wonderful Week!  Hope it was for you too! TUESDAY: Well Tuesday we had a lot of lessons planned, then they all fell through so instead we did a lot of finding. We stopped by this one house and they were just letting their dogs out so we got to pet two of their dogs who were very nice! One of them stayed a boy further back and made us a bit nervous but the owner was there so it was fine! We ended up having a good conversation with her though she wasn't interested. WEDNESDAY: We met with Sister Wilkinson! And when we went we thought it would just be Sister Wilkinson, then Autumn joined us and we just read to them from The Book of Mormon together! It was awesome! And Autumn was involved and commenting which she hasn't been the past few times we've gone!  We then showed up for youth night but it ended being somewhere else so we talked to the adults instead which was good!
