July 4, 2022 - Coming in Twos

 Hello Friends and Family,




Last week's highlights!


-We had Zone Conference which was so much fun!

- We had our friend Mike, who is so awesome, finish the lessons! So he got baptized! It was a very special experience I loved it. We also had a 8 year old in our ward get baptized! So we had a double baptism. And both of them were named Mike.  We had a lesson with Mike in the Sacred Grove the week before he got baptized.

-We were knocking, and one of those we knocked said we could come back so we did. It was so cool. He said he had started studying our church because we believed there were people here before the Native Americans, and he found artifacts that the Indians said were there before them! And I got to hold them, they felt like real metal!

- So one of our members had someone suggest a prayer call thing. After our lesson we stayed with her for support. The person praying had us mute ourselves. Then proceeded to give a 15 minute prayer. It was an... interesting experience to say the least.

WEDNESDAY:

We went to the sacrament Grove with one of our friends! It was a awesome experience and felt so peaceful. The Grove was so beautiful. We also got to go into Joseph Smiths house. It was such a cool experience and our friend loved it!

THURSDAY:

We had a baptismal interview! It was with this awesome convert named Logan. And he passed! So he is getting baptized!

FRIDAY:

So all week we had been planning on going to the sacrament Grove with another friend, Maryella. We had invited the ward and made a big thing. Then we got a text saying she had gone by herself! She sent us pictures and it was awesome!

SATURDAY:

We had some awesome knocking! So we were able to meet somebody who was interested in learning more. So we were able to give him a Book of Mormon and a pamphlet. It was amazing!
Our friend Logan got baptized. It was awesome!

SUNDAY:

Our friend Logan received the holy Ghost. The baptism was such a special experience to witness! (over Saturday and Sunday)

I have loved seeing the work go forward! I have been able to see how much the gospel blesses peoples lives. It has definitely blessed me more then I can say in my life. I know this is God's church, his work and his glory!

  TUESDAY: We had Zone Conference day #1. Elder Johnson of the seventy came which was cool.  There are also three Martin's in our mission, none related to each other. I also had exchanges. WEDNESDAY : Our catch up day. We had a lot of lessons! THURSDAY : Day #3 of zone conference. Another exchange. Within the exchange I got to do my first service on the mission  and I started a phone call in Spanish. Which was cool. FRIDAY : We had lessons and some finding. SATURDAY: It was soo hot. We got up to like 89sh. I was walking up a set of stairs and a huge bee stopped right in front  of my forehead before I stepped forward.   luckily I saw and stopped but I almost got stung by a bee.  We also has a storm Saturday evening., and the rain came on so fast it was bizarre.  I'm still trying to decide how I like the weather here, but I guess spring is unpredictable everywhere. Baptism and everything! - June 5, 2023

Hello beautiful people,                                                        Sister Prall and I found some beautiful Daisies. MONDAY: We had an awesome lesson with one of our friends Chris! We talked about Jesus Christ and why he had to come!  And we called random people at the church which was a bit strange but good! TUESDAY: So we had a slightly distracted lesson with our new friend Bryan. (Not the recent convert) we tried talking about prophets which went well but he kept on going on tangents about false prophets and some other tangents. And pulling him back to the fact that there is a true prophet today was fun. But we think we got the point across! Problems are Like a Washing Machine - August 7, 2023

Hello, Wonderful Week!  Hope it was for you too! TUESDAY: Well Tuesday we had a lot of lessons planned, then they all fell through so instead we did a lot of finding. We stopped by this one house and they were just letting their dogs out so we got to pet two of their dogs who were very nice! One of them stayed a boy further back and made us a bit nervous but the owner was there so it was fine! We ended up having a good conversation with her though she wasn't interested. WEDNESDAY: We met with Sister Wilkinson! And when we went we thought it would just be Sister Wilkinson, then Autumn joined us and we just read to them from The Book of Mormon together! It was awesome! And Autumn was involved and commenting which she hasn't been the past few times we've gone!  We then showed up for youth night but it ended being somewhere else so we talked to the adults instead which was good!
