Mike's Baptism!



Hello Everyone.

 
MONDAY: On the 4th We got to go to a barbecue which was so much fun!!! Happy late 4th! We also had an awesome lesson with one of our friends, Maryella. It was very spirit filled and I loved getting to be able to be a part of it.

WEDNESDAY: So we have had a hard time getting in contact with one of our friends Elizabeth.
Well we got in contact! We were able to have an awesome lesson and find a way to get in contact! We also got to go to Young Women's which was awesome! 

THURSDAY: We had two awesome lessons. One was with one of our members. We were talking about the Plan of Salvation and we went into some deep doctrine which was awesome! We had another lesson with a member and we had a amazing lesson about how God loves each of us and how we need to endure to the end. It was so spirit filled.

FRIDAY: We had a ward activity which was soo much fun! We watched the pageant video and one of our friends Elizabeth came. It was awesome! Our friend Elizabeth loved it.

SATURDAY: There was a festival! It was a lot of fun and we met some great people! We also handed out a lot of Book of Mormons so that was amazing.

SUNDAY: Church!!! Which is always a highlight.  We had an extremely spiritual lesson with...Sister Jackson! It was the best.

We are so blessed to be able to have the gospel. Helping those who have not had had the chance to hear it has helped me realize what a blessing it is to know it. To understand that I have a loving Heavenly Father and that I am a daughter of God, and that he will be there to help me. I am also so thankful for my family here on earth, they have been such a blessing in my life. Love you all!❤

Church!!! One of the members had some extra roses so the women in church got roses!!!

  TUESDAY: We had Zone Conference day #1. Elder Johnson of the seventy came which was cool.  There are also three Martin's in our mission, none related to each other. I also had exchanges. WEDNESDAY : Our catch up day. We had a lot of lessons! THURSDAY : Day #3 of zone conference. Another exchange. Within the exchange I got to do my first service on the mission  and I started a phone call in Spanish. Which was cool. FRIDAY : We had lessons and some finding. SATURDAY: It was soo hot. We got up to like 89sh. I was walking up a set of stairs and a huge bee stopped right in front  of my forehead before I stepped forward.   luckily I saw and stopped but I almost got stung by a bee.  We also has a storm Saturday evening., and the rain came on so fast it was bizarre.  I'm still trying to decide how I like the weather here, but I guess spring is unpredictable everywhere. Hello beautiful people,                                                        Sister Prall and I found some beautiful Daisies. MONDAY: We had an awesome lesson with one of our friends Chris! We talked about Jesus Christ and why he had to come!  And we called random people at the church which was a bit strange but good! TUESDAY: So we had a slightly distracted lesson with our new friend Bryan. (Not the recent convert) we tried talking about prophets which went well but he kept on going on tangents about false prophets and some other tangents. And pulling him back to the fact that there is a true prophet today was fun. But we think we got the point across! Problems are Like a Washing Machine - August 7, 2023

Hello, Wonderful Week!  Hope it was for you too! TUESDAY: Well Tuesday we had a lot of lessons planned, then they all fell through so instead we did a lot of finding. We stopped by this one house and they were just letting their dogs out so we got to pet two of their dogs who were very nice! One of them stayed a boy further back and made us a bit nervous but the owner was there so it was fine! We ended up having a good conversation with her though she wasn't interested. WEDNESDAY: We met with Sister Wilkinson! And when we went we thought it would just be Sister Wilkinson, then Autumn joined us and we just read to them from The Book of Mormon together! It was awesome! And Autumn was involved and commenting which she hasn't been the past few times we've gone!  We then showed up for youth night but it ended being somewhere else so we talked to the adults instead which was good!
