May 14 - Where are all the Gold Doorknobs?

 Hello everyone.


                                                Mismatched doorknobs

TUESDAY:
We had stone soup and we were able to bring a friend and teach a lesson. It went well, I think.

WEDNESDAY:
We had a miracle call. It was awesome to hear all the miracles going on in the mission. There is much more green here now. It's awesome and so pretty.

THURSDAY:
We drove an hour away for an oil change. I also drove a car for the first time since I started my mission. Which felt really weird at first but I got used to it.

FRIDAY:
Exchanges with Glenville! After me and my trainer were a pretty good distance away from our apartment I realized. I forgot my tag.😲 so I went all day without my tag and thought I got away with it, til my companion said something.

SATURDAY:
We exchanged back. I learned a previously unknown fact about myself, which I think I got from my dad. I sleep talk. According to my trainer and exchange companion I have said a prayer about my family and taught a lesson on faith in my sleep. 

I also threw a talk together for church in an hour'ish. 😨 So that was fun.

SUNDAY:
We had church! I played in sacrament, gave my talk, and was asked to play in primary. We will see on the last one.
So one of the young men in our ward wants to be a missionary. He asked us what we ate. Sunday we were almost out of easy food to pack so my companion packed lunch meat, a go go squeeze, and a kiwi. I had a bagel with Nutella. (Normally we do have other options though so we do eat well.) I think he thought we were starving for good food so he invited us over for dinner. And he has a friend he asked to come so we could get a lesson in!

MONDAY: cleaned our car for Zone Conference. (A big meeting where a specific group of missionaries gather together) wrote this and house keeping stuff.

  TUESDAY: We had Zone Conference day #1. Elder Johnson of the seventy came which was cool.  There are also three Martin's in our mission, none related to each other. I also had exchanges. WEDNESDAY : Our catch up day. We had a lot of lessons! THURSDAY : Day #3 of zone conference. Another exchange. Within the exchange I got to do my first service on the mission  and I started a phone call in Spanish. Which was cool. FRIDAY : We had lessons and some finding. SATURDAY: It was soo hot. We got up to like 89sh. I was walking up a set of stairs and a huge bee stopped right in front  of my forehead before I stepped forward.   luckily I saw and stopped but I almost got stung by a bee.  We also has a storm Saturday evening., and the rain came on so fast it was bizarre.  I'm still trying to decide how I like the weather here, but I guess spring is unpredictable everywhere. Baptism and everything! - June 5, 2023

Hello beautiful people,                                                        Sister Prall and I found some beautiful Daisies. MONDAY: We had an awesome lesson with one of our friends Chris! We talked about Jesus Christ and why he had to come!  And we called random people at the church which was a bit strange but good! TUESDAY: So we had a slightly distracted lesson with our new friend Bryan. (Not the recent convert) we tried talking about prophets which went well but he kept on going on tangents about false prophets and some other tangents. And pulling him back to the fact that there is a true prophet today was fun. But we think we got the point across! Problems are Like a Washing Machine - August 7, 2023

Hello, Wonderful Week!  Hope it was for you too! TUESDAY: Well Tuesday we had a lot of lessons planned, then they all fell through so instead we did a lot of finding. We stopped by this one house and they were just letting their dogs out so we got to pet two of their dogs who were very nice! One of them stayed a boy further back and made us a bit nervous but the owner was there so it was fine! We ended up having a good conversation with her though she wasn't interested. WEDNESDAY: We met with Sister Wilkinson! And when we went we thought it would just be Sister Wilkinson, then Autumn joined us and we just read to them from The Book of Mormon together! It was awesome! And Autumn was involved and commenting which she hasn't been the past few times we've gone!  We then showed up for youth night but it ended being somewhere else so we talked to the adults instead which was good!
